Looking for a racing game that starts instantly? Driver runs in your browser and is completely free to play. In Driver every corner is a small decision — brake early and lose time, brake late and risk the wall. That tension is what keeps people replaying the same track. A few things the tags reveal: it uses hardware-accelerated graphics in the browser.

About Driver

Immerse yourself in the exhilarating world of Driver, where you can take the wheel of a diverse array of cars and motorcycles. The game delivers an open world experience, allowing players to explore at their own pace. With stunning graphics and thrilling mechanics, you have the freedom to navigate through the city, complete missions, and experience the rush of driving

The genre lives on a scoring system based on time, position or distance, responsive steering and a sense of speed. Driver understands that, and it shows in the first minute of play. Playing it works your timing and timing, which is a large part of why the "one more round" feeling is so strong.

Tips and tricks

  • Look where you want to go, not at the wall you want to avoid. Your steering follows your attention.
  • Use the whole width of the road. Cutting across from the outside to the inside of a bend and back out again shortens the distance and keeps your speed up.
  • Nitro or boost is best used on straights where you are already stable, not to rescue a bad corner.
  • Slow in, fast out. Entering a corner a little slower lets you accelerate earlier on the exit, which almost always beats a hard, late braking approach.
  • Because this is a City game, roads first, then everything else.

Who will enjoy it

We would recommend Driver to anyone who enjoys speed, vehicles and shaving seconds off a personal best. Expect a single race of one to three minutes, or a longer career if unlocks are involved. The learning curve is forgiving on early tracks, demanding on later ones. It is designed for desktop play with a keyboard and mouse.
