Looking for a shooting game that starts instantly? Lost Bus runs in your browser and is completely free to play. Lost Bus puts a target in front of you and a weapon in your hands. Aim, timing and knowing when not to fire are the whole game. A few things the tags reveal: the goal is to last as long as possible against growing pressure.

About Lost Bus

After the last nuclear war on earth, people mutated and became zombies, some of them became unrealistic sizes, terrifying the imagination, everyone is against you, except for your devoted girl Sasha and your modernized school bus in case of X. Sometimes the military can help you, sometimes the bus modifications, and sometimes luck. Survive this HELL!!!

The genre lives on waves or levels that build up, enemies with distinct behaviours and precise aiming. Lost Bus understands that, and it shows in the first minute of play. Playing it works your resource management and target prioritisation, which is a large part of why the "one more round" feeling is so strong.

How to play Lost Bus

  1. Start by clicking the big play button. Lost Bus loads inside the frame; give it a moment, especially on a slow connection.
  2. Follow the on-screen prompts. The developer describes the controls like this: All control instructions in section control In start menu Control adapted for Desktop and Mobile devices
  3. Take a few practice shots at the first targets to learn the aim speed, then move on to prioritising the dangerous enemies.
  4. Use the full-screen button under the frame for the best view, and keep an eye on the score, timer or health display so you know what the game is asking of you.

Tips and tricks

  • Learn the spawn points. Most levels reuse the same few entry points, and knowing them turns panic into routine.
  • Sound tells you where an enemy is before you can see it. Headphones help more than you would expect.
  • Headshots, weak points and combo multipliers are where high scores live; once survival is comfortable, start hunting for them.
  • Aim first, then shoot. Spraying costs time or ammo and rarely helps; a single well-placed shot almost always beats three rushed ones.
  • Because this is a Survival game, plan for the late game early; what feels like plenty of resources will not be.

Who will enjoy it

We would recommend Lost Bus to players who like precision, quick targeting and progressively tougher waves. A typical session is levels of a few minutes each, with longer runs in survival modes. Difficulty-wise it is approachable at first, with a steep climb in the later waves. It is designed for desktop play with a keyboard and mouse.
