Tips and tricks
- Nitro or boost is best used on straights where you are already stable, not to rescue a bad corner.
- Look where you want to go, not at the wall you want to avoid. Your steering follows your attention.
- Slow in, fast out. Entering a corner a little slower lets you accelerate earlier on the exit, which almost always beats a hard, late braking approach.
- If the game has upgrades, put the first ones into handling or brakes rather than top speed — control wins more races than raw power at the beginning.
- Because this is a Kids game, younger children do better with a mouse or touch screen than with keyboard combinations.
Who will enjoy it
Monster Hair Salon is a good fit for anyone who enjoys speed, vehicles and shaving seconds off a personal best. Expect a single race of one to three minutes, or a longer career if unlocks are involved. Difficulty-wise it is forgiving on early tracks, demanding on later ones. The controls are tap and drag based, which makes it comfortable on touch screens as well as with a mouse.
